I just wanted to try the WordPress Rest API on my (this) blog, as I read, that since version 4.7 or so it is automatically featured and enabled. But, trying this example from wordpress.org on my (this) site didn’t work. I took me a while to find this post, which solved the problem. So as in example for my side instead of: http://eiseler.de/wordpress/wp-json/wp/v2/posts I used http://eiseler.de/wordpress/?rest_route=/wp/v2/posts which worked for me, as you can see, when you try it.
